Congratulating Perth Racecourse for its RCA Showcase Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Perth Racecourse on its significant achievement in winning the Diversity and Inclusion category at the Racecourse Association (RCA) Showcase Awards; notes that this success is attributed to the innovative Pride Raceday, which, it understands, is a pioneering event in British racing that promoted inclusivity and diversity, attracting thousands of new racegoers to Perth; acknowledges what it sees as the significant impact that this event has had on fostering a welcoming and joyous atmosphere, as recognised by the judges; commends the racecourse team and the local community for their exceptional efforts in organising this event, and invites all MSPs to join in celebrating this achievement, and in recognising what it sees as the positive influence of such initiatives on their constituents, while encouraging further dissemination of information about this and similar inclusive events.
