Congratulating Scotland's High Street Hero

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Gordon McDonald and Buckie Action Group on being recognised for their outstanding community activism and work at the recent Scotland Loves Local Awards 2023; notes that Gordon was crowned Scotland’s High Street Hero at the event on 28 November 2023, which was organised by Scotland’s Towns Partnership (STP), and understands that he was selected for his remarkable work with the Buckie Action Group to help vulnerable people through the cost of living crisis, and his lifetime of devotion to helping others in the Buckie community.
