Congratulating the Winners of the Scottish Thistle Awards

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates all of the tourism and hospitality businesses that won awards at the Scottish Thistle Awards 2023; notes that the first ever dedicated regional Thistle Awards for South of Scotland businesses took place in October 2023, where winners included Cringletie for Best Hotel Experience, Borders Book Festival for Outstanding Cultural Event or Festival, and the Trimontium Museum for Best Visitor Attraction; further notes that the recent national final saw Airhouses in Oxton win the Best Luxury Experience in Scotland award, and congratulates all of the winners on this well-deserved recognition, celebrating the best of the tourism and events industry in Scotland.
