The motion

That the Parliament congratulates The Big Yellow Force for putting on a fashion show in Selkirk to raise awareness and funds for what it sees as the vital project of endometriosis and the Menstrual Health Project; notes that the colour Yellow is the internationally recognised colour for endometriosis awareness and that it was a key theme of the whole night, with guests encouraged to wear clothing with the colour; understands that a large number of local Borders businesses also attended, with local textile and clothing companies providing items for those on the catwalk to show off, and Borders Distillers in Selkirk launching a bespoke Yellow alcohol for the event; further understands that nearly £4,000 was raised on the night, to be split between The Big Yellow Force and the Menstrual Health Project, and wishes the mum and daughter duo who founded The Big Yellow Force the best of luck at their future fundraising events, such as The Big Yellow Ball, which is scheduled for the end of March 2024 in Galashiels.
