The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Bo’ness’s Isla France on her fundraising efforts, raising a total of £270 to benefit a fantastic local cause tackling food poverty in the Bo’ness area; understands that Isla, a local primary school pupil, created a range of gifts to sell at a stall outside her home earlier in 2023, with her first stall in Easter selling slime, lip gloss and sand jars to raise a fantastic £50 for the Bo’ness Food Pantry; notes that, following her success, Isla organised another stall on Fair E’en to capitalise on the passing traffic there to view the creative arches, raising £100 for the Bo’ness Storehouse; understands that, further to this, Isla raised an additional £50 for the Food Pantry during the October holidays, and a fantastic £70 for the Storehouse during Halloween; congratulates Isla once more on her fundraising success; thanks her for her efforts to benefit the local community by tackling food poverty, and wishes her all the best in the future.
