Inverclyde Groups Recognised by Keep Scotland Beautiful

That the Parliament congratulates Blooming Inverkip, Wellington Allotment Gardens Association, Belville Community Garden Trust and Branchton Gardening Club for the recognition that they received from Keep Scotland Beautiful for their work to improve their communities for the climate, nature and people; understands that, of the quartet, Blooming Inverkip and Wellington Allotment Gardens Association received a Certificate of Distinction, which is presented to groups displaying continuous improvements over a four-year period as part of the It’s Your Neighbourhood initiative; understands that Belville Community Garden Trust, Blooming Inverkip, and Wellington Allotment Gardens Association all received an Outstanding certificate for 2023, while Branchton Gardening Club was noted as Advancing; believes that this recognition by a leading Scottish environmental charity is tribute to the efforts of those involved in the groups to improve the local environment, and wishes them all the best as they continue their work across Inverclyde.
