Fiona Jones Wins the Real Heroes Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Ms Fiona Jones, of Portlethen, Aberdeenshire, on being awarded the Real Heroes Award by Real Life Options, a charity that supports and empowers people with learning disabilities and autism; recognises what it sees as Fiona’s excellent work to raise autism and disability awareness, both in the north east and across Scotland; notes that Fiona has worked with a number of national autism and disability groups, including the National Autistic Society and Autism and Neurodiversity North East, to share her experiences as an autistic woman and improve accessibility for disabled and autistic people; recognises what it sees as her determination and all of her hard work, and wishes Fiona well in her future endeavours.
