Scottish School Chef of the Year

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Donald McInnes, of Clydebank High School, on being named School Chef of the Year at the Scottish School Food Awards 2023; understands that Donald has worked in restaurants around the world serving the finest cuisine, and has worked to change the outdated perception of school dinners by revolutionising the way that the school kitchen operates and the ingredients used in school meals; further understands that the Scottish School Food Awards 2023 rewards excellence in education foodservice, and values wellbeing, sustainability and the provision of high quality food and nutrition, and thanks Donald for his commitment and passion to provide high quality meals for pupils.
