Muirkirk Primary Wins Eco-Schools Green Flag Award

That the Parliament congratulates all the staff and pupils of Muirkirk Primary School and Early Childhood Centre on achieving the Eco-Schools Green Flag award, in conjunction with Keep Britain Tidy; understands that the award is internationally recognised for excellence in environmental action and learning; applauds the ecological achievements of all those who got involved with litter picking, tree planting and caring for local wildlife on the journey to the recent accolade; understands that the award is valid for one academic year before renewal is required to remain an accredited Eco-Schools Green Flag school; congratulates the staff, and especially the pupils, for all their hard work and dedication to environmental issues, and withes them luck for future endeavours and for maintaining their status as an eco-school.
