ABZ Propeller Fund Donates over £25,000 to Local Projects

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the donation of over £25,000 in 2023 to local organisations and charities across Aberdeen City and the wider North East Scotland region through the ABZ Propeller Fund, which is administered and funded by Aberdeen International Airport; understands that the fund is used to assist projects with links to education, sustainability and economic regeneration; notes that, following the most recent round of funding, one successful organisation to receive funding is Flexible Childcare Services Scotland SCIO for its Cummings Park Nursery Garden; understands that, since its relaunch in 2022, the ABZ Propeller Fund has supported nearly 40 organisations, sharing a total of £50,000 amongst them; applauds Aberdeen International Airport for its continued generosity, and congratulates all organisations that received funding for worthy causes.
