Grangemouth’s Malcolm Finlayson Raises Over £10,000 for Strathcarron Hospice
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Malcolm Finlayson, known as "Malky", from Grangemouth, on raising the outstanding total of £10,610 to benefit Strathcarron Hospice; understands that Malky has been using his handy skills since the start of 2023 to create items to sell to the public and raise much-needed funds for, and awareness of, Strathcarron Hospice’s work; notes that, at the beginning of 2023, Malky began crafting 200 wooden planters and, due to their success, has now added to his efforts by creating wooden Christmas trees, raising a further £5,440 towards his total; congratulates Malky on his successful fundraising for Strathcarron Hospice, and wishes him all the best with his future endeavours.
