Asda Maryhill Treats Young People to Christmas Dinner

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Asda in Maryhill on spreading festive cheer to young people with a host of festive fun thanks to a partnership with the Glasgow charity, theGKexperience; notes that, with the help of the store, the community champion, theGKexperience, organised a Christmas event, which included entertainment such as Santa’s grotto, a photo booth, a festive dinner with all the trimmings and gifts for all the family; acknowledges that the young people were picked up and dropped off to make the day accessible for all, and understands that they left with a gift that they had asked for and toys donated by Asda customers.
