Clydebank Salvation Army Celebrates 130 years of Charity in the Community

The motion

That the Parliament celebrates the 130th anniversary of the establishment of Clydebank Salvation Army; understands that the Salvation Army was set up in 1865 in London to reach the most impoverished people; further understands that the Clydebank branch was set up in November 1893 and that it has been an integral part of the Clydebank community; applauds the dedication of members to provide worship services, carol singing, warm welcome cafes and family dinners across this festive period; commends the efforts of all Salvation Armies to raise funds for worthy causes; congratulates the Clydebank Salvation Army, and wishes it well in the future.
