Congratulates Newmains Community and Conference Centre on its Community Events

The motion

That the Parliament commends Newmains Community and Conference Centre on its successful community events, which have supported the community in the lead-up to Christmas; understands that it held a Christmas lunch for members of the community as well as a Christmas Wish Appeal, which provided a gift to those with little during these challenging times; understands that the community pulled together with support from local businesses, Pixies Petals Floral and Balloon Design, Howieson of Newmains and Fantastic Discos; thanks all the staff and volunteers for their continued support and commitment to the community throughout the year, and wishes them all the best for 2024.
