Stenhousemuir’s "Kandy Kid", Aaron Clark, Donates to Community Foodbank
The motion
That the Parliament recognises young entrepreneur, Aaron Clark, for his generosity and community-minded spirit in fundraising to buy donations for a Falkirk East community foodbank; understands that, locally, Aaron is known as the "kandy kid" for the business that he created selling pick and mix sweets in boxes decorated for special occasions; notes that Aaron organised a raffle to win treats for the "ultimate family night in", including a huge sharing box of sweets and a £30 takeaway voucher, with the funds raised purchasing two large trolleys stacked with supplies for Kersiebank Community Project; recognises that this is not Aaron’s first fundraiser, having previously organised another raffle to raise vital funds to support Strathcarron Hospice; further recognises Aaron for his generosity towards others within the community, and congratulates him on his successful fundraising for worthy local causes.
