Jay Barrett, Peter Vardy Carz Apprentice of the Year 2024

The motion

That the Parliament commends Jay Barrett, of Newmains, after being named Peter Vardy Carz Apprentice of the Year 2024; understands that the annual Peter Vardy Awards provides an opportunity for employees and apprentices across the UK to put their skills, dedication and achievements to the test, with the winners being chosen by a panel of expert judges from the motor trade industry; recognises that, according to the judges, Jay claimed the award as a result of his ability to excel in the workplace, his dedication to learning, along with his determination and skills shown within the team at Peter Vardy Carz Motherwell; praises Jay's hard work and dedication as demonstrated through his craftsmanship, and wishes him all the best for the future.
