Milngavie Designer Invents Self-watering Origami Plant Pots

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Scottish designer, Andrew Flynn, aged 32, of Milngavie, on creating the world’s first self-watering origami plant pot; notes that the art of paper folding is believed to have originated in Japan more than 1,000 years ago; understands that POTR, the business founded by Andrew, has secured a distribution deal to sell the 100% recycled sustainable design in Japan, and will be moving into the US market later in 2024; wishes the team the very best of success, and looks forward to seeing the growth of the company at an international level.
