Letitia McKell's Charitable Donation to Motherwell Library

The motion

That the Parliament recognises Letitia McKell (née Milligan) for the charitable donation left within her will to Motherwell Library, which it understands allowed the recent refurbishment to take place, including a new creative craft space within the library; thanks Letitia for her generous donation; notes the appeal to find her friends and loved ones to attend the opening ceremony to share in her memory; believes that libraries provide valuable services that provide opportunities for residents; further believes that arts play a vital role in society, and celebrates the addition of the new creative space, which it considers will contribute to making arts accessible to all.
