Jacqui Innes Celebrates 45 Years with Northfield Community Centre

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Jacqui Innes, who recently celebrated 45 years working at Northfield Community Centre in Aberdeen; understands that Jacqui first volunteered at the community centre's Summer Playscheme, which then led to her helping with the Thursday Club and the 16-21 Club, later working with the young unemployed; further understands that, during her time so far, Jacqui has supported numerous clubs and activities for all ages within the local community, including kids' football teams, Thursday Clubs for children aged five to 11, and bingo sessions for pensioners within the local community, as well as organising the annual Christmas lunch for the community; recognises that Jacqui’s colleagues describe her as being a bedrock of the local community and praise her dedication to supporting those within the area, and commends what it sees as the incredible work that Jacqui has carried out across 45 years at Northfield Community Centre.
