Aberdeen Restaurant Week
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes Aberdeen Restaurant Week, which began on 22 January 2024 and will run for two weeks until 4 February; understands that the event, which is organised by Aberdeen Inspired, is the biggest since its inception in 2018, with 77 restaurants, bars and cafes across Aberdeen city centre taking part; further understands that participating venues are offering special menus starting at £10 across breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as a range of tasting menus, and other special events including Burns suppers and "taster" cooking classes; recognises that the event is being boosted by a £5,000 grant from the Scottish Government's Regional Food Fund, and wishes all those taking part well in making the most of this opportunity.
