The Big Small Business Festival
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the first “The Big Small Business Festival", which is being held by Scottish Borders Chamber of Commerce (SBCC) with Scottish Enterprise Ecosystem funding, and comprises of a series of events taking place across the Borders and online from 11 to 14 March 2024; understands that the event will welcome speakers from a range of sectors, including agriculture, finance, tourism and green energy with the majority of the events free to attend for both members and non-members to reach and motivate as many organisations as possible with practical insights and advice; further understands that SBCC hopes that this will further its aims of supporting, networking and inspiring the business community in the Scottish Borders; believes that such events are valuable in supporting small business, and sends its best wishes for a successful event.
