Flourishing Faifley Receives People’s Health Trust Funding
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Flourishing Faifley on being awarded £38,055 by People’s Health Trust; notes that the funding is for a two-year project to deliver a broad range of existing recreational and social activities within West Dunbartonshire; understands that this project aims to target those who live alone, people who are socially isolated and new parents who are struggling, by providing a welcoming space where they can build social connections and community cohesion through shaping the activities, and commends all who work at Flourishing Faifley for providing a community garden that encourages self-sufficiency while promoting health and wellbeing activities to the local community and school.
