Falkirk East’s Candle Shack is an International Success

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the owners of Candle Shack on the successful growth of their business; recognises that Candle Shack, based in Carron, is co-owned by a husband and wife duo, Cheryl and Duncan MacLean, who originally founded the company in 2010; understands that, since 2010, Candle Shack has grown from a "side hustle" to become one of the market leaders within the UK, and that it is on track to reach a target turnover of £15 million in 2024; further understands that the growing company now has 86 employees, and has opened a European HQ in the Netherlands to supply booming markets on the continent; congratulates Cheryl and Duncan on the growth and success of Candle Shack, and wishes them all the best as they continue to grow their business.
