DMG Services Group Receives North Lanarkshire Employer Charter Silver Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates DMG Services Group, in Bellshill, on achieving the North Lanarkshire Employer Charter Silver award; notes that the DMG Service Group achieved this award by paying all employees the Real Living Wage, employing local residents, using local businesses in the supply chain where possible, and ensuring that fair work practices are in place, and considers that the award reflects high standards of excellence; understands that the DMG Service Group includes MyRoofCare Ltd and the DMG Academy of Roofing Ltd, a first-of-its-kind skills academy offering accredited and specialist training; recognises what it sees as the huge value of the DMG Academy of Roofing Ltd in addressing the reportedly growing skills shortage in the industry; applauds DMG Services Group for its substantial contribution to the Bellshill and North Lanarkshire community, and wishes it continued success in all future endeavours.
