Success for the Davidson Legacy Preservation Group

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Davidson Legacy Preservation Group on receiving funding from the Community Ownership Fund towards the purchase of the former home of the Davidson family; understands that the non-profit Davidson Legacy Preservation Group works together to promote the historical Davidson Legacy Cottage, near Brechin, and has secured community ownership funds of £299,900 to purchase the Davidson Legacy Cottage; further understands that the two bedroom cottage has become a pilgrimage site for Harley-Davidson fans from all around the world; considers that purchasing the former home of the Davidson family will preserve its legacy and encourage tourism and educational visits to the cottage for future generations and the wider community to enjoy, and praises the hard work of everyone involved in the Davidson Legacy Preservation Group for securing this success.
