Angus-based Gin Bothy Gin Selected for Oscar Nominees

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Kim Cameron, of the award-winning Gin Bothy, on the distillery's Angus-distilled gin being included in the 96th Academy Awards in Los Angeles, California; notes that its small batch gin has been chosen as part of a lavish offering, and will be hand-delivered to the top 25 Oscar nominees before the awards ceremony in March 2024, with the gin being made with Scottish heather, Scots pine and rosemary; appreciates what it sees as the opportunity to showcase Scottish spirits and liqueurs to a global market; understands that the Gin Bothy celebrates its 10th anniversary later in 2024, having started in Kim’s kitchen, and wishes it continued success at home and abroad.
