VIP Arts & Sports Academy Awarded £39,998 for its Everyone Together Indoors and Outdoors Project

The motion

That the Parliament recognises the recent funding award of £39,998 to VIP Arts & Sports Academy for its Everyone Together Indoors and Outdoors project from Peoples Health Trust through Health Lottery Scotland; understands that this two-year project will be delivered to the residents of the Fallside estate in Bellshill, which aims to bring together people of all ages and backgrounds and build a sense of community spirit through engaging activities and bridging what it sees as generational and territorial divides; acknowledges the diversity of activities delivered, which include cookery, fitness classes, arts and crafts, computer skills, gardening, horse riding and swimming; commends the work of all those involved at VIP Arts & Sports Academy, and wishes them all the very best in this project and wider service delivery.
