Helensburgh Tennis Star Wins Milestone Sixth Australian Open Doubles Title

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Helensburgh tennis champion, Gordon Reid, on achieving his sixth Australian Open wheelchair doubles title alongside partner, Alfie Hewett; notes that the former Heritage Academy pupil and his partner were up against a duo from Japan, winning their 19th Grand Slam title together with a 6-3, 6-2 victory; understands that family and friends had travelled to Australia to see the match and were delighted with the winning result, and wishes the duo every success for the season ahead.
