Bo'ness Pupils Launch Campaign to Stop Owners Allowing Dogs to Foul in School Playground

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates pupils at St Mary’s Primary School in Bo’ness who launched a campaign to make people aware of the dog fouling problem in their school; understands that P5 pupil, Riley Duffy, felt so strongly about the issue that he brought it to the attention of headteacher, Stephen McPeake; further understands that the children organised a poster campaign to highlight the issue, as they want to get the message out to parents, children and those living nearby that dog fouling can be dangerous and have health implications; congratulates Elvie McCracken from P5, who was judged to have the overall winning poster, and wishes the pupils success in their campaign to rid their playground of dog fouling.
