A Tribute to the Late Hope Robertson of the Clydebank Asbestos Group
The motion
That the Parliament notes with sadness the passing of Hope Robertson, former Secretary for the Clydebank Asbestos Group, on 27 January 2024; believes that she will be remembered for her immense commitment to and dedication in the fight for truth and justice for asbestos victims; understands that, having lost her husband to mesothelioma, a condition caused by asbestos exposure, she worked tirelessly to help others in a similar situation; recognises and celebrates her voluntary work for the group, which it understands has been vital in getting it to where it is now; thanks Hope for her dedication and passion for helping others, and extends its deepest sympathies to her family and loved ones.
