New MSYPs Elected in Aberdeen Donside

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Tyrone Jana and Sol Bewley-Lataix on their election as the new Members of the Scottish Youth Parliament (MSYPs) for Aberdeen Donside; understands that a total of 1,124 votes were cast across Aberdeen City during the election period; welcomes the opportunities provided by Scottish Youth Parliament, as well as partner organisations, to young people across Scotland to experience and participate in democracy whilst learning and developing new skills and friendships; recognises what it sees as the valuable work carried out by MSYPs, in ensuring that the views and interests of young people are heard, and wishes Tyrone, Sol and all MSYPs all the best for the new term ahead.
