Old Kilpatrick Food Parcels Begin New Era
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Old Kilpatrick Food Parcels on opening its new premises at Napier Hall, Old Kilpatrick; understands that the food bank has spent three years at Station Road and that, over this time, it has provided food to almost 30,000 people, as well as grown its helpers to almost 40 volunteers and eight employed roles; understands that the foodbank founder, Maureen Cummings, and her team have spent several months tirelessly renovating the old hall to create a warm and welcoming space; notes that the hub now boasts additional features such as meeting rooms for the community and a main stage for events; sincerely thanks Maureen and her wonderful team for their compassion, warmth and dedication to helping those in need, and wishes them every success in their new home.
