Pioneering Centre to Support Women in Business Opens its Doors

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the opening of what it considers to be a unique new centre in Lanarkshire, the HIVE, which offers a dedicated workspace for female-led start-up businesses, providing on-site advice and support, events, and opportunities for networking; notes that the space was designed to cultivate a strong community within which women can connect, collaborate, and empower each other to develop and excel in business, and recognises the wraparound support and flexibility that the centre offers to tackle what it sees as the numerous additional barriers that women face.
