Wishing Ralph Roberts, Chief Executive of NHS Borders, Well on his Upcoming Retirement
The motion
That the Parliament notes the upcoming retirement of the chief executive of NHS Borders, Ralph Roberts, who has announced that he will be retiring in summer 2024; recognises that Mr Roberts has served the NHS for over 35 years, working as chief executive firstly for 13 years in NHS Shetland, and then for the last five and a half years in NHS Borders; understands that his tenure at NHS Borders has included leading the organisation through the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent recovery and remobilisation of services; thanks Mr Roberts for his service, and wishes him a very happy retirement.
