John Brown Awarded for 40 Years' Service as GMB Trade Union Workplace Convenor at BAE Systems Govan Shipyard

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates John Brown, GMB Trade Union Convenor at BAE Systems Govan Shipyard, for his 40 years of service making work better for GMB members; congratulates him on receiving an award for his long service and wishes him all the best for his retirement, and believes that Mr Brown leaves behind a strong legacy and that the shipyards in Glasgow today are a better and safer workplace because of his work.
