Milngavie BID Elected to Lead for a Third Consecutive Term
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Milngavie Business Improvement District (BID) on being voted for by 88% of the businesses that it represents to serve a third consecutive term; understands that the business owners appreciate the approach of the BID and the support that it provides as being an investment vehicle for Milngavie; further understands that the businesses involved work together to increase footfall, stimulate investment, enhance the reputation of Milngavie town centre and provide a strong unified local voice; acknowledges the voluntary contribution of £180,000 from East Dunbartonshire Council over the five-year term of the BID, and wishes the businesses in the area every success over the term of the BID and beyond.
