Stuttgart Medal Winners

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Dougal MacPherson, from Troon, and Emilia Wood, from Kirkoswald, on bringing back two medals from the Stuttgart Culinary Olympics in February 2024; recognises the skill and talents of the Ayrshire College lecturer and student, who, it understands, represented the UK and managed to fight off stiff competition from 55 nations and over 1,200 chefs taking part in the event; understands that Dougal, assisted by Emilia, earned themselves a silver medal in the regional teams cold food art competition and bronze in the community catering contest; commends what it sees as their outstanding achievement, and wishes them continued success for the future and their culinary careers.
