South Lanarkshire Pride Returns for 2024

The motion

That the Parliament notes that South Lanarkshire Pride has announced a return to Hamilton for 2024, with its first-ever parade; understands that the celebration, which aims to bring together and empower the LGBTQ+ community by providing a platform and voice within the local area, will take place on 26-27 July 2024 in Hamilton town centre; further understands that the events will include the popular "Drag at the Town House" and "Drag Bingo Bonanza" fundraisers on the Friday at Hamilton’s A-listed Town House theatre ahead of the main event on the Saturday, and wishes the organisers and the participants all the very best for a successful weekend.
