Celebrating Hamilton Gymnastics Club

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Hamilton Gymnastics Club on receiving a sportscotland Sport Facilities Fund award of £108,401 towards the redevelopment of its premises; understands that the club has a pressing need for expansion, due to the current facility operating at maximum capacity with a waiting list of 250 people; recognises what it sees as Hamilton Gymnastics Club’s track record of delivering exceptional gymnastic programmes across various age groups, alongside providing inclusive opportunities for disabled gymnasts; applauds club manager, Wendy Lucas, who, it understands, is committed to utilising the funding to elevate the gymnastics club's offerings and enhance participation, and wishes everyone at Hamilton Gymnastics Club continued success in their efforts to enrich the lives of Lanarkshire residents through sport and physical activity.
