Welcoming National Lottery Awards for All Scotland Community Fund Award to Burntisland Big Green Market

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the award of £19,788 to Burntisland Big Green Market from the National Lottery Awards for All Scotland Community Fund; understands that the funding will help towards the development of a workshop programme and repair café over the next two years; notes that the Big Green Market is a monthly, two-day market offering preloved items and is run by volunteers; believes that the project is supported by the Burntisland Community Development Trust, which has provided some staff support and helped to secure resources and form connections with other organisations; is grateful to the National Lottery Awards for All Scotland for the investment in the project, and to all the volunteers who have helped to make the market such a success, and extends its very best wishes to everyone for continued success in the future
