Glenesk Hotel, Edzell, is a Finalist in the Scottish Prestige Hotel Awards

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Glenesk Hotel, in Edzell, on being a finalist in the Scottish Hotel Awards, Prestige Best 4* Hotel North category; understands that this is the seventh year of the Prestige Hotel Awards, which were created to showcase and reward outstanding service within the hotel industry in Scotland; further understands that 20,000 members of the public have nominated their top hotel, with over 400 hotels across Scotland being nominated; recognises that Glenesk Hotel is situated in the picturesque village of Edzell, gateway to the Angus Glens; acknowledges that the hotel is a partner bar of the Scotch Malt Whisky Society, which, it understands, is a Guinness World Record holder, verified 28/9/2017, for its 360-degree bar offering over 1,200 malts, and wishes the Glenesk Hotel in Edzell every success at the Gala final in Glasgow in April 2024.
