Horizons Recovery Café
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Horizons Recovery Café SCIO on its award of £20,000 from the National Lottery Community Fund; notes that this project supports up to 200 people from Dalkeith who are recovering from problematic substance use; further notes that Horizon is Midlothian's first Recovery Café, and that it has been running for nearly 10 years; understands that it is a safe and substance-free space that aims to strengthen recovery in a recovery-focused environment, and that all people of a similar mind are welcome; welcomes the café’s programme of activities, ranging from arts and crafts to acupuncture, and thanks all involved for their continued hard work and dedication.
