Jordan Fletcher Raises over £2,000 for Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland

The motion

That the Parliament commends Jordan Fletcher, who ran the Manchester Marathon during April 2024; understands that Jordan, from East Kilbride, raised over £2,000 for Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland, an organisation that supports people who have had a stroke or have received a chest or heart condition diagnosis, to continue living their lives well; understands that Jordan ran the marathon in memory of his father, who had a fatal stroke in 2022; further understands that one in five people in Scotland are living with a chest, heart or stroke condition, and that the funds raised by Jordan will be used to provide support and care in a variety of ways; congratulates Jordan on completing the marathon, and thanks him for his incredible fundraising efforts.
