The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Logan Millar on winning bronze at the National Schools Boccia Championships, which means that he is now considered one of the best young boccia players in Scotland; notes that Logan, who attends Craigmarloch School in Greenock, was cheered on by his classmates and family who all travelled to Stirling to see him take part in the tournament, which was organised by Scottish Disability Sport and saw almost 50 athletes of all abilities compete; understands that boccia is a Paralympic sport designed for athletes with high support needs, and is a target sport played indoors with soft leather balls; recognises that Logan had previously won silver at the West Scotland regional qualifiers to secure his place in the final; commends Logan’s commitment to the sport; thanks the staff at Craigmarloch, particularly his support assistant, Gordon Convery, who assisted him at the tournament, and wishes Logan all the best for the future as he continues to develop his boccia game.
