Fishermoss School, Portlethen, Wins Keep Scotland Beautiful Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Portlethen’s Fishermoss Primary School pupils on receiving the Eco-Committee of the Year 2024 Award in the Keep Scotland Beautiful annual Eco-Schools award; understands that entries were received from over 30 schools that fly the international Eco-Schools Green Flag; further understands that the judges were impressed by the whole school and the 300-strong pupil-led approach to learning for sustainability; understands that the Eco-Committee, known as Global Warriors, prides itself in knowing and understanding the world and having the right values, knowledge and skills to make the world a better place, and wishes everyone at Fishermoss Primary School continued success in their efforts to bring change and improvements to their school, environment, community and beyond.
