#KeepTheBeatAlive Campaign and South Lanarkshire's Third Sector
The motion
That the Parliament celebrates the #KeepTheBeatAlive campaign, a collaborative effort by third sector organisations across South Lanarkshire, aimed at highlighting the invaluable contributions of the local third sector and addressing what it sees as the crucial issues facing these organisations and communities; recognises what it sees as the vital role played by the third sector in enhancing communities; notes the call for smarter funding solutions to provide stability for third sector organisations to plan and deliver their services effectively; recognises what it sees as the desire for enhanced collaboration with the public sector to enhance outcomes for individuals across South Lanarkshire and beyond; commends the comprehensive approach of the #KeepTheBeatAlive campaign, which, it understands, includes the publication of an impact report, the creation of informative films, and the provision of free resources for charities, social enterprises, and community groups, and applauds the funding provided by Voluntary Action South Lanarkshire (VASLan) and the collaborative efforts of third sector organisations in producing the #KeepTheBeatAlive campaign, underscoring what it sees as the importance of solidarity and cooperation within the sector.
