The Les Hoey MBE DreamMaker Foundation Trip to Blackpool

The motion

That the Parliament recognises the continuing support of the Les Hoey MBE DreamMaker Foundation to children across Lanarkshire and beyond; notes that the Les Hoey MBE DreamMaker Foundation recently organised a trip to Blackpool Pleasure Beach for 57 DreamMaker families; recognises what it sees as the invaluable support that the Foundation gives to children with life-limiting illnesses, and the assistance that it provides to affected family members; understands that the charity has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds from events and fundraisers to transform the lives of children under the care of the organisation since its inception in September 2014; commends the work of team DreamMaker, and wishes it and the people it works with the best for the future.
