Clydebank's Champion Dance and Cheer Achieve International Success

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Clydebank’s Champion Dance & Cheer (CDC) Senior Black Team on placing fifth in the world as part of Team Scotland (GB) out of 19 countries at the International Cheer Union Cheerleading World Championships (ICU); notes that at the International All-Star Federation World Championships, competing as a club, it also placed fifth; understands that it was also the highest placing club in the ‘Pom’ section from the UK; notes that CDC trains at Clydebank’s Centre 81 and offers a space to help grow its love of dance and cheer; believes that representing their country is a massive achievement in such a prestigious event; commends the group again for this outstanding success, and wishes them all the best for future competitions.
