Award for Hugh Black and Sons

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Hugh Black and Sons, in Wishaw, on winning Q Guild Butchers' Diamond Smithfield Award at Butchers' Hall, London; understands that the Smithfield Awards recognise and reward the best meat products from butchers across the UK, showcasing craftmanship, innovation and skill; further understands that, from over 200 products submitted from butchers across the UK, Hugh Black and Sons was awarded the Diamond accolade for Best Traditional Pork sausage; notes that products were assessed by a judging panel, including a selection of respected industry professionals, journalists and foodies; thanks the Q Guild Butchers for its continued support across the industry, and wishes Hugh Black and Sons all the best for the future.
