North Edinburgh Community Festival

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the organisers of the North Edinburgh Community Festival on 11 May 2024 in West Pilton Park, Edinburgh; understands the festival was a success, being well attended among all age groups, with over 100 stalls featuring various community organisations including libraries, charities and art groups; recognises what it considers to be the enormous efforts of all those who contributed to the festival either by volunteering or attending as part of an organisation; notes what it sees as the importance of community festivals in fostering community spirit and helping people feel pride in their local area, and hopes for the continued success of the North Edinburgh Community Festival.
